I held retreats with my clients all throughout the pandemic. I was unwilling to cede the magic of physical connection for any reason. It’s healing and essential.
This choice that my clients and I made to not compromise on what is most essential led to greater successes than they had ever experienced not just meeting another revenue goal or staying solvent in a major challenge. But literally the catalyzation of a completely new paradigm.
The places I chose are not based on airbnb rates or access to beaches. I chose them according to the magic and frequency they are saturated with. I chose them for the specific quality they lend to our rituals, our minds, our hearts. The beauty of land medicine is that it is only and ever accessed in that place and time.
Last year I took a group of female sadhakas to a sacred space in Mexico. This special place is the easternmost point of the land. It is the first place the light touches in Mexico each day.
To go there and watch the sunrise is to be impregnated with the magic of The Light touching The Dark. Something happens in that moment, in that place within you and the land, that is unrepeatable. This is why it is known as pilgrimage. It is the journey we undertake to access, to remember, to initiate that which has been held out of reach and in the dark.
